And the winner is........ME!

Woot woot!  I just found out that I received a  2014-2015 Education Abroad Scholarship from VCU's Global Education Office!  Traveling to Ghana is not cheap, so I'm glad for any financial assistance I can get.  Part of the requirement for accepting the scholarship is agreeing to submit "a multi-media project reflecting on your experience from a personal, academic, and professional development perspective."  I'm hoping my blog will suffice with this, otherwise I'll have to get my creative groove on and figure out something when I get back.  I will also have to commit to at least 7.5 hours of volunteer work to the education abroad office - I'm thinking this will be a lot attending study abroad fairs and info sessions and speaking to students about study abroad which I think will actually be pretty fun!
So a big shout out to the VCU Global Education Office for choosing me for this award.  It is very much appreciated!
