It's official - I'm going to Ghana! I will be participating in a two week study abroad/service learning project led by one of my professors in OT school. During the semester I will be learning about child development and disability culture in Ghana and the last two weeks of May I will travel to Ghana to work with kids who are disadvantaged by their family situations (orphans, foster kids, street children).
One of the assignments for the course is to blog about our thoughts and experiences over the semester and during the trip. So here is my blog :) Over the next few months I hope to share my journey with you so fasten your seat belts and here we go.....
